Leading digital payments company Wirex has recently revealed a set of location-enhanced services that will inform consumers where their transactions have taken place. This is likely to ensure a higher level of transparency during those transactions.
The service, which is co-developed with Snowdrop Solutions Ltd., is expected to replace the often-confusing details involved in card transactions regarding the merchant's name, location, and, the associated brand.
The new feature is available in each of Wirex's 20 digital and conventional currencies as well as in their award-winning app. Wirex came into the spotlight when it had developed the world's first crypto-enabled payment card in 2015, which allowed users to spend conventional and cryptocurrencies in real life.
Wirex, which has over 3.5 million customers in 130 countries, is known to provide safe accounts that enable customers to easily store, purchase, and exchange multiple currencies at the best possible rates using a single mobile app.
Commenting on the move, Pavel Matveev, CEO & Co-Founder at Wirex, mentioned that the partnership with Snowdrop has allowed the company to provide its customers with cutting-edge and easy financial functionality while adding value to their lives and bridging the gap between conventional and digital economies.
Meanwhile, Ken Kart, CEO at Snowdrop, expressed that the team is thrilled to partner with Wirex to offer quality customer service and transparency during a transaction.
It is worth noting that Wirex has been gaining considerable recognition for its innovative payments infrastructure which combines with digital payments and enables clients to spend cryptocurrency in-store using the company’s debit card across 61 million stores.
Experts claim that Wirex is also capable enough to gather unique spending insights and subsequently share better ways to visualize financial preferences and trends owing to Snowdrop's Merchant Reconciliation System (MRS) technology.
