Sources knowledgeable with the matter stated that the You.i Engine One enterprise development platform offers video applications utilizing a common codebase across smartphones, Smart TVs, tablets, set-top boxes, streaming devices, and game consoles.
This single codebase strategy reportedly enables developers to create app features, make relevant improvements to the user interface, and then distribute them across a range of devices as well as operating systems, saving time and accelerating the delivery process.
As per credible sources, You.i Engine One technology will aid in the rapid deployment of WarnerMedia’s subscription video platform HBO Max across several markets around the world. The service is currently available in Latin America and the upgradation of HBO branded streaming facilities in Europe is scheduled for 2021.
For the record, AT&T affiliates and WarnerMedia presently use You.i TV technology to develop or update applications for DIRECTV GO, Rooster Teeth, B/R Live, truTV, TBS, TNT, and AT&T TV Now in Latin America.
