Vista Equity Partners, a renowned American venture capital and private equity company, has reportedly announced that it has opened a new office in Singapore. The new office would come under the Vista Consulting Group (VCG) name. VCG is an affiliated consulting unit of the Texas-based leading investment firm.
The new Singapore office would serve as VCG Asia headquarters, allowing Vista to expand its presence while delivering additional operational support to all Vista enterprises and their 14,000 employees in the region.
The new Singapore office is situated in the Centennial Tower and is a testament to the company’s growing commitment to Asia. At present, over 20 Vista portfolio companies’ offices are located in the region and 13 of them are in Singapore.
Under this announcement, Apptio, a Vista portfolio company and digital transformation software provider, also named Singapore to be the company’s Asia headquarters. The company is currently focusing on increasing sales as well as other opportunities across the region.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, RDC, another vista portfolio enterprise, also announced that it was choosing Singapore for its headquarters in Asia.
Chairman, Founder, and CEO at Vista, Robert F. Smith stated that the organization is sensing momentous business-to-business market growth in Asia. Which is highlighted by increasing investments in enterprise software and technology infrastructure. This transformation is actively creating a substantial commercial opportunity throughout the portfolio.
