Food packaging and processing giant Tetra Pak has reportedly introduced the Tetra Classic Aseptic 65ml Cube package, in a bid to offer an efficient packaging solution for liquid foods, dairy, and juice.
As per trusted sources, the dimensions of the package have been developed in such a way that every six packages can form a cube, thereby enhancing the use of space in distribution and storage. The package is an addition to the Tetra Classic Aseptic family, these tetrahedron packages are renowned for their minimal use of packaging materials. Moreover, this innovation has brought substantial environmental and cost improvements.
In comparison with the conventional Tetra Classic Aseptic 65ml packages, the new packs require minimum secondary packaging and need nearly 40% less space to transit the same quantity of products. Which assures food safety over longer distances for a lower price, which eventually makes products affordable for customers, reported sources familiar with the enhancements.
Hemant Krashak, Tetra Pak’s Product Director, said in a statement that Tetra Classic Aseptic 65ml package’s robust food protection, reduced material uses, and efficiency in distribution presents a simple solution for the growing need for eco-friendly packages along with saving cost for manufacturers. Furthermore, existing owners of Tetra Classic Aseptic filling machines can conveniently make a switch with limited investment, Krashak added.
Reportedly, the new packages are currently available with hand picking for secondary boxes. These packs are being used since December 2018 by a Southeast Asian customer who sells coconut milk as a cooking ingredient in a market where logistics infrastructure is a challenge, cited credible sources.
For the record, Tetra Pak is a leading food packaging and processing company determined to make food safe and easily available, everywhere. Since its foundation in 1951, the company has taken pride in delivering the best possible packaging and processing solutions for food, reported sources.
