Software startup OSlash recently announced to have secured USD 2.5 million in a seed funding round that was led by Accel Partners. With this new funding, the company plans to draw new talent and present to the world its vision of smooth access to information and sharing within an enterprise for increased productivity.
The founder and CEO of Figma, Dylan Field; COO of Notion, Akshay Kothari; CEO of Freshworks, Girish M; and other senior executives from Stripe, Quora, and Airtable, also participated in the pre-series A funding round.
Founded by Shoaib Khan and Ankit Pansari in 2020, OSlash is an enterprise productivity tool that facilitates every employee to gain easy and quick access to the right information and resources within the company in a friction-free environment. It essentially enables employees to promptly access, manage, and share information by converting any URL into a shortcut that is an easy-to-remember for the whole company.
OSlash CEO Ankit Pansari mentioned that the firm is excited to have marquee angels and Accel Partners on board. As companies advance to using cloud-based software subscriptions, the need for a link-organizer and an improved way to navigate work in this changed setting is only growing, he added.
OSlash has by now extended its reach to 1000 teams that also involve Notion, Retool, and Postman.
Head of Accel-India Shekhar Kirani mentioned that with each company using plenty of enterprise tools, the information, resources, and results are archived in each of these apps. He further claimed that the group is elated about the prospects of OSlash’s tool and how it can assist in enhancing employee productivity.
According to COO of Notion Akshay Kothari, every team is required to index their links which makes OSlash a potent and default method of gaining access to internal links within companies.
The company intends to utilize the funds to expand and considerably scale enterprise adoption by next year. In addition, the widespread adoption of remote work solutions across organizations is likely to attract more customers into the collaborative multiplayer browser space.
