L&T Technology Services, a renowned engineering services company and a subsidiary of multinational conglomerate Larsen & Toubro, reportedly announced that it has won a new multi-million-dollar procurement, engineering, and construction management project contract in Europe.
The company stated that LTTS (L&T Technology Services Ltd) won this project from one of the top chemical, plastics and refining manufacturers in the world. The company would deliver the whole spectrum of EPCM (engineering, procurement, and construction management) services in order to expand an existing site located in Europe.
With an engineering, construction and manufacturing expertise of more than 10 years, the company helps its customers gain operational excellence and maximize their efficiencies by facilitating a complete EPCM services package.
The new expansion project would be implemented at the consumer’s brownfield plant situated in Germany over the next 30 months.
The company is now a strategic engineering partner in the project. It would implement the whole project using an EPCM model, through procurement and SCM (supply chain management) support to efficient design and safety aspects.
L&T Technology Services board member and President of Sales and Business Development, Amit Chadha stated that as the top services provider in the process industry, the company carries impeccable credentials with it. It has contracts from seven of the top 10 customers operating in the process industry. The company also has a proven track record in the end-to-end EPCM and production expertise. Now, this deal, won from a market leader is a reaffirmation of its strong position in the field of Plant Engineering.
Chadha further added that the company has earlier carried out successful brownfield projects across the U.S. LTTS is privileged to extend its engagement with a very important customer in the European industry.
Shares of LTTS were last trading at Rs.1468.35 which was previously closed at Rs. 1493.65. The total number of shares of the company that were traded across the day was 4116 in more than 667 trades.
