Apparently, they believe that this partnership with OrbiWise and their OrbiWAN™ LNS (LoRaWAN™ Network Server) will help them better support their customers, who at present are using LoRa™ based hardware solutions.
For the record, OrbiWise's OrbiWAN™ (LNS) Solution is an industry leader that provides the intelligence to run, manage, and view the operations of LoRaWAN™ Networks.
Experts on the matter suggest that OrbiWAN™ is fully compliant with the recent LoRaWAN™ protocol specification which includes advanced features like Geolocation and Roaming and apparently can support all other features and device classes (A, B, and C). OrbiWAN™ is also reported to support on-premise installation or SaaS (Software as a service) network setups.
