Foodie Card doubles down on its expansion drive with Westchester launch

Dining subscription service Foodie Card is reportedly gearing up to launch in Westchester County in New York in November 2021. The move will mark a milestone for the organization that was founded back in 2018.

For those unaware, Foodie Card essentially drives business to local restaurants by providing incentive programs that keep customers coming back for more. Subscribers can save up to 10% at participating restaurants, earn rewards with every purchase, and help feed those in need through the company's "Buy A Card, Give A Meal" campaign.

The company already has a presence in Queens, Manhattan, South Florida, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and other parts of New Jersey. The inclusion of the Westchester County restaurants will bring Foodie Card's network to nearly 2000 restaurants to date.

Jared Katz, the CEO of Foodie Card, stated that hundreds of local restaurateurs have already committed to partaking in the company’s initiative. There are also several residents on the waiting list, further demonstrating the enthusiasm of the county, he added.

Katz added that the company is seeing tremendous growth on multiple levels, primarily because it allows members to save money while discovering and supporting local restaurants while simultaneously helping to feed the hungry.

Foodie Card has also teamed up with Feeding Westchester, an organization that offers food to around 225,000 people each month through meal initiatives, community partners, and direct distributors.

Karen C. Erren, the CEO & President of Feeding Westchester, said that their primary focus during the holiday season is to put food on the table for their neighbors. Every Foodie Card purchased or renewed will result in a full day's worth of meals being donated to those in need.

Since its launch, Foodie Card has donated over 50,000 meals through various collaborations with hunger relief organizations.
