Cook Medical India moves into new ‘eco-friendly’ office in Chennai

Cook Medical India, the India-based subsidiary of Cook Medical, has reportedly shifted its headquarters to a new office in Kocher Jade, Guindy, Chennai.

 

Sources aware of the development stated that the new 20,000 square feet facility is located in Chennai’s major commercial area with convenient access to air and land transportation services. 

 

Apparently, the modern, environment-friendly office will offer training facilities with the latest equipment in presentation and video conferencing technology to enable collaborative learning. This, in addition to a high-tech facility, will seemingly help the company enhance its customer service across India. 

 

Evidently, the design of the new office is focused on increasing the space and environment to enable the use of natural light while reducing carbon footprint. 

 

According to industry experts, the company’s intention to transform its India-based facility into a new state-of-the-art office and warehouse highlights the significant role the country plays in conducting business for Cook Medical in the Asia-Pacific. 

 

Cook Medical India General Manager Vijayan Govindaraman stated that driven by the company’s vision to provide solutions rather than sell products, the new logistics office in Chennai will facilitate to enhance its delivery capabilities to clients in major cities across India. 

 

The office will promote people to work together whereas the new warehouse will ensure quick and efficient systematic distribution of outbound as well as inbound logistics, Govindaraman added

 

For the record, since 1996, Cook Medical India has provided technical and clinical support to clinicians in India and South Asia through a range of 2,600 products. The company has maintained a steady workforce since its inception and currently has 52 employees. 

 

Cook Medical had recently collaborated with Italian manufacturer Quanta Systems to deliver state-of-the-art laser technology to clinicians.
