Tech giant Microsoft will reportedly be helping Campbell Soup Company to modernize its IT department with the help of Azure cloud. Azure will be supplying Campbell – by workflow streamlining & driving efficiencies – an improved business agility through global hybrid cloud-based solutions.
Campbell’s, according to reports, stated that the Azure transformation will supply them with new capabilities & facilitate close to real-time information and insights’ access which will help them take informed business decisions. This platform will offer Campbell employees additional flexibility via customized reporting & analytics and will streamline operations throughout the organization as well.
Campbell Soup CIO, Francisco Fraga reportedly stated that their migration to Azure will improve their flexibility, resiliency and agility and enable them to respond to evolving business needs quickly, launch new solutions and support the company round the clock.
The company established back in 1869 possesses a portfolio spanning brands like Bolthouse Farms, Pepperidge Farm, V8, Arnott’s, Swanson, Prego, Pace, Royal Dansk, Plum, Pacific Foods, Garden Fresh Gourmet, Lance and KETTLE Chips and Snyder’s of Hanover.
Microsoft Executive VP, Worldwide Commercial Business, Judson Althoff stated that Microsoft is looking forward to working along with Campbell as the company goes through this transition & moves to the cloud, aiding in its operation’s optimization and extract crucial informative insights from its data & meta-data to improve the company’s business.
Althoff further stated that Microsoft is extremely honored that Campbell Soup Company selected Azure to help evolve their digital strategies and modernize their IT platform.
Microsoft also vowed to provide extra benefits like increased cyber security, information & compliance protection.
